Grant Pickrel & the Broken Diamonds are a fresh country and country rock band hailing from Chadron, NE. Drawing inspiration from bands like 49 Winchester, Koe Wetzel, Cross Canadian Ragweed, and Blackberry Smoke, they bring a unique mix of modern and classic sounds. Frontman Grant Pickrel leads with powerful vocals and rhythm guitar. Riley Snyder wows with his lead guitar, delivering iconic licks that resonate with both young and older listeners. Brenner McLaughlin lays down a groove on bass that’ll have you moving from start to finish. Holding it all together is Thai Taylor on drums, keeping the band locked in time and driving the energy forward.

Purchase of a season tailgating ticket package grants you a tailgating spot to all 4 regular season home games for the 2025 football season. 

Tailgating

Supporting Chadron State Athletics through tailgating prior to football games is a time-honored event built on the tradition of enjoying a top-notch game day experience and great Eagle Football. Chadron State College encourages responsible tailgating in an effort to enhance the game day experience, ensure a safe game day atmosphere for all fans and preserve a beautiful campus. 

Tailgating passes do not include admission into football games. Tickets for entry into the game must be purchased separately; purchase your tickets and tailgating passes by clicking HERE.

Tailgating Prices

Single Game (per parking stall): $50.00 

Season Pass (per parking stall): $150.00 

If you require more than one standard parking space for your tailgating setup or vehicle, you must purchase enough standard parking space needed; no exceptions! 

Tailgating Hours

Fans are encouraged to begin their tailgating activities 3 (three) hours prior to kick off (i.e. 3pm for a 6pm kickoff). No overnight parking prior to the game will be permitted. 

Tailgating Area 

We have a dedicated tailgating area located in the circled area below. Your parking pass(es) for the designated game is REQUIRED for entry into this space. You will have a QR code for each space purchased. The entrance to this space is located off of 12th street next to the Nebraska National Guard Armory, where an attendant will be available 3 hours before the game to verify your pass. Please have your pass(es) ready to show the attendant. 

Behavior 

Rowdy, threatening or inconsiderate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in ejection, arrest and/or loss of entrance into CSC athletic events. Chadron State College and the City of Chadron Police Department reserve the right to enforce event policy at any time.

Family Friendly 

Tailgating at Don Beebe Stadium is a family friendly environment. Please be respectful of those surrounding you. Groups are personally responsible for making sure their guests act appropriately. 

Additional Guidelines

• No parking on the grass or outside the parking stall

• Tailgating is restricted to one parking spot occupied by each vehicle, and the area immediately behind each vehicle 
  • All tailgating activities may not impede or block the flow of traffic 
  • Tents, chairs and all other apparatus must be contained within your area All trash must be picked up
• Individuals who violate any of the above guidelines will be asked to leave CSC property and may be subject to legal penalties.
